WHO WE ARE
Procurement and Contract Services – Contract Services is a customer service oriented team working under the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Operations. We are responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing business and administrative contracts for the University System.

WHAT WE DO
While working in tandem with other resources within the University (i.e. the Attorney General’s Office, Office of Research, Commercialization) we process a variety of contracts including but not limited to:
- Interlocal and Interagency Agreements in accordance with RCW 39.4, Interlocal Cooperation Act
- Cooperative Agreements
- Facility Use Agreements for both WSU and non-WSU facilities
- Domestic and international academic programs
- Client Services Agreements
- Speaker/Performer Agreements
- Student Affiliation Agreements
- Data Use Agreements
- Licensing Agreements
- Non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements related to business/administrative activities
- Revenue-generating Agreements, including service center agreements, not processed by the Office of Research
WHAT WE DON’T DO
The types of contracts that are not handled by our office include, but are not limited to:
- Contracts to purchase goods or services (contact Procurement and Contracts Services – Purchasing Services)
- Sponsored/grant agreements (contact the Office of Research)
- Agreements regarding the commercialization of WSU intellectual property (contact the Office of Commercialization)
- Real Property Agreements (contact Real Estate Services)
